Agave Glazed Carrots

Sweet and bright with a hint of ginger warmth. 

 

Ingredients: 

Bunch of fresh carrots lightly peeled and cut in half lengthwise 

1 T vegan butter

2 T agave syrup

1/2 t dry ginger

1/2 t salt fresh cracked pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS:

Steam carrots in small amount of water until tender crisp. Meanwhile melt vegan butter, agave syrup, dry ginger and salt in small fry pan. 

Strain carrots and add to butter mixture to coat. Then add fresh pepper to finish. Serve warm.
